LET ME HELP OUR COMMUNITIES. LET’S GROW AVOYELLES PARISH.
As a life-long resident of Avoyelles Parish, I am committed to making the parish a place where families can flourish and kids won’t have to move away to find a job. With my experience as an entrepreneur, I know how to create jobs and opportunities. I’ll work hard in Baton Rouge to grow our job base and give every one of us a chance to succeed.
LET’S STOP WASTEFUL SPENDING
Politicians in Baton Rouge are risking our future to fund their wasteful ways. I will use my knowledge as a successful job creator to force government to live within its means, cut our taxes and give the citizens something back for their tax dollars.
I SUPPORT OUR SCHOOLS
I know firsthand the schools in Avoyelles Parish and across the state. I understand the importance of giving parents and students the chance to achieve their dreams. I support giving every student a strong start, high expectations, effective teachers and quality schools.
I WANT TO PRESERVE OUR WAY OF LIFE
My Christian values guide me every day. I am pro-life and committed to protecting the rights of the unborn. As a sportsman, I will defend the Second Amendment and will fight to protect the rights and culture of our community.
Louisiana is experiencing a major 911 outage caused by a fiber cut. This is more than an inconvenience — it’s a serious public safety issue. When families can’t reach emergency services in their time of need, lives are at risk.
As Chairman of the House Commerce Committee, I am committed to ensuring we protect our critical communication lines. We cannot allow preventable infrastructure failures to endanger our communities.
Please share this information so neighbors know to use the alternate numbers being provided in each parish until service is restored.
The news of Charlie Kirk’s death is both tragic and heartbreaking. My prayers are with his family as they face this devastating loss.
We also cannot ignore the reality that political violence has no place in America. No matter our differences in ideology, we must stand united in rejecting hatred and violence. ... See MoreSee Less
That’s one of the reasons everyone 18 years and older should be able to freely have the right to pack a handgun on them, openly or concealed, with or without a license to carry
I truly believe we are living in a time where God is revealing how the Bible speaks in real life. Charlie Kirk was not only exercising his freedom of speech, but he was boldly sharing the Word of the Gospel. People who disagreed with him tried to silence him because he spoke the truth, and they labeled him as evil. But the Word reminds us that darkness will always resist the light. Those who celebrate what happened to him reveal the true condition of their hearts—they are far from God.
To those people, I say: go get saved, open your Bibles, and seek the Lord. The time is coming sooner than we think, and we must be ready.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” – Isaiah 5:20
Today, we honor the hardworking men and women who keep Louisiana – and America – moving forward. From our teachers and first responders to our farmers, builders, and small business owners, your dedication is the foundation of our communities.
Wishing everyone a safe and restful Labor Day as we celebrate the dignity of work and the strength of our workforce.
Had a great evening with Olivia and my friend, Senator John Kennedy. We enjoyed dinner and a frank, thoughtful conversation. Grateful for honest dialogue and good company.
I was thinking about this today. Daryl Deshotel how often do the US legislators of La meet with the state senators and reps? Is there a lot of collaboration. Seems like you guys would have more of a pulse on the state and the real needs thereof.
True patriot.
I know Olivia laughed!!! Fun conversation I’m 👍🏻 sure. I’m so proud of you guys✅
🚨 Public Safety Depends on Reliable Communication 🚨
This summer, Central Louisiana has experienced multiple AT&T outages that disrupted 911 service and cell coverage. That’s unacceptable. Families, first responders, and businesses all rely on these networks—and when they fail, lives are put at risk.
As highlighted in this KALB article, it’s clear that telecom companies must be held accountable. We need better mapping of infrastructure, stronger oversight, and reforms that treat broadband like the essential utility it is.
I will continue pushing for transparency and reliability so that Cenla—and all of Louisiana—can count on safe, dependable service.
📉 Good news for Louisiana drivers! 20 auto insurance companies — including Geico, State Farm, Progressive, and Allstate — have filed for rate decreases this year, a step in the right direction for our state.
I want to thank Governor Jeff Landry and my colleagues in the Legislature for making insurance reform a priority in 2025. While we know the full impact of these reforms may take time to reach everyone’s premiums, this is a positive sign that we’re moving in the right direction.
We’ll continue working to lower costs for Louisiana families and businesses. 🚗💵
🎉 Honored to receive the 2025 Family Advocate Award from the Louisiana Family Forum!
It’s a privilege to stand for life, liberty, and limited government, and to work every day for the families of Louisiana. Thank you to the Louisiana Family Forum for this recognition, and to the people of District 28 for allowing me to serve.
I'm proud to report that this year I secured over $13 million in critical investments for District 28 to improve our roads, infrastructure, and community services. In addition, I authored legislation to promote more responsible spending of your hard-earned tax dollars and foster a more business-friendly environment across Louisiana.

It is an honor to work for the people of District 28. Thank you for the continued trust and opportunity to serve.
I also know there are over 300 other roads in our parish that still need attention, so please don’t think I’ve forgotten about your road — this is just one step forward, and I’ll keep pushing for more. ... See MoreSee Less
In 2012 I came home from a 3 month military deployment to United Arab Emirates to a speed camera ticket in my name from the City of Gretna. 42 in a 35. Obviously I was not driving. They said the vehicle was in my name so I was responsible for the ticket. I said no way am I paying a ticket that states by signing is an admission of guilt and agreement to waive court appearance, nor was I going to go to court over something so blatantly BS. It never appeared on my driving record or my credit report. But, just that basis is totally unlawful. If a uniformed officer in a marked patrol car would have stopped the car the driver would have gotten the ticket not me, but they say I am responsible because it's a camera ticket. No way in hell that can be lawful!!
What if it’s a ticket received prior to August 1?
Why speed ??? 63, never got a ticket. I travel all over the country. Pay for breaking the law. 💪🏼👮🏼

Thank you for the info.
It would help greatly if AT&T had more than 3 digital techs to cover the state

I read from a local news station that the rate drop was because of fewer wrecks last year-? Which is the reason?
My GEICO premium is 11% higher than 12 months ago
So you’re now taking credit for a reduction in insurance when in fact, it was the drivers themselves who caused the rate decrease. What a world.
